Monika Verma, PT, AHPC registered

Managing Director

Graduated as a Physiotherapist, she holds clinical experience of over 20 years. Her experience includes working with the Singapore General Hospital, Mt. Elizabeth Medical Centre and in a private sector. She is also a registered member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP) in UK and the Singapore Physiotherapy Association (MSPA).

She has gained over 13 years of experience in private practice and outpatient set-up and is involved in Clinical Services Management, protocol Developments and Operational Management for Out-Patient Services.

Monika’s strength lies in managing Clinical Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and Pain Management. She is also involved in the development of SCORES – a spinal core stability program using Achievo Pressure Biofeedback and Real-Time Ultrasound that is presently being used in Physio Asia.

She also has a special interest in Incontinence Management.

Dinesh Verma: PT, AHPC registered

Director

A Physiotherapist and MBA-Gold Medallism, an accomplished Professional and an Entrepreneur with over 2 years of experience, Dinesh is also the Director of Physio Asia Therapy Centre. He plays a strategic development role towards the growth of the clinic and its franchise and licensing models. He is actively involved in development of new technologies and has key competencies in Electro-Physical Agents.

With his Entrepreneurship spirit, he has pioneered the proprietary concept of SCORES to integrate Imaging Ultrasound and Pressure Biofeedback in the most innovative way for the management of back and neck pains.

Dinesh has conducted over 50 workshops on Electro-physical Agents and Vitalstim Therapy Applications across Asia, Australia, Italy and Spain and has led to the growth of this technique across Asia Pacific. He is now acting as the International Program Director for Vitalstim Therapy.

Since June 2012, Dinesh was also been appointed as the President of Singapore Physiotherapy Association and is serving as a member of Core Steering committee for the World Confederation for Physical Therapy in Singapore in 2015.

Danielle Barratt, PT, AHPC registered

Danielle has over 18 years of experience in providing holistic physiotherapy care for adults and children of all ages. Qualifying as a Physiotherapist in 1996 (Australia), Danielle has worked both in the public and private healthcare systems in Australia, UK and Singapore.

Kalidass G. Murugan, PT, AHPC registered

M.Sc. Physiotherapy

 

Kalidass graduated with a Masters of Advanced Clinical Physiotherapy (Musculoskeletal) from the University of South Australia. Kalidass has gained vast working experience at public hospital & private clinic treating Musculoskeletal, Sports injuries & post-operative management for 7 years. Kalidass has served with team Singapore as a physiotherapist in the medical team in SEA Games and ASEAN Para Games in 2015.

Kalidass is specialized in treating spinal problems, shoulders, sports related injuries with a special interest in lower limb rehabilitation (ACL/Knee injuries) and injury prevention. He is well equipped to manage a large range of injuries and conditions using manual therapy techniques, functional movements analysis, motor-control assessment and corrective exercises. He gains satisfaction in rehabilitating clients back to their functions and sporting activities to their optimum level. Kalidass also does public talks and teaches undergraduate physiotherapy students on clinical placements. In his spare time, he enjoys playing football, boxing, running and yoga.

Gitanjali Ramesh, PT, AHPC registered

BSc (Physiotherapy)

 Gitanjali is a trained physiotherapist, having qualified in 2002. With over 13 years of experience across reputed hospitals, clinics and also independently as a freelancer, she is well-versed in a broad range of therapies like Manual therapy, Electro-therapy and Exercise therapy. Her key focus areas are clinical orthopedic rehabilitation and pain management. Besides, Gitanjali is a certified Aqua Therapist and uses it greatly for core strengthening, post-operative rehabilitation, Arthritis management and weight management.

She is also a registered member of the Singapore Physiotherapy Association and Indian Physiotherapy Association.

 

Swati Prakash, PT, AHPC registered

BSc (Physiotherapy), MSc.

Qualifying as a physiotherapist in 2002, Swati completed her Masters in Neuromusculoskeletal healthcare (Keele University, UK) in 2006. Having worked across a variety settings, clinical as well as research in UK, Australia and India besides regular physiotherapy, she also had been conducting hydrotherapy classes in community care. Her main interest is Musculo-skeletal Physiotherapy.

She is also a registered member of the  HCPC (UK), AHPRA(Australia), MAPA (Aus), MIAP (India)

Rane Ng, PT, AHPC registered

Graduating locally from the physiotherapy programme in Singapore, Rane has had clinical experience working in a various acute and community hospitals under principal and senior physiotherapist that has helped shaped her into the therapist she is today. She volunteered her time doing physiotherapy for the elderly in nursing homes during her course of study and has grown a strong interest for geriatrics and cardiopulmonary physiotherapy.

Rane also has had experience working in a sports clinic treating musculoskeletal sports injuries and progressing dancers and athlete’s strength training programmes. Her main goal is to ensure that her patients are able to achieve their maximum functional potential and be able to enjoy their lives with the best experiences.

Nazish Ghani, BSc (Physiotherapy)

Operations Executive

Nazish helps to ensure smooth operations at the clinic as well as overseeing a high level of quality assurance and safety for all clinic infrastructure, clinical equipment. She also helps in daily operations of the clinic.
